Nothing wrong with filters as long as you know how to use them. I have learned from experience sometimes brushes can be your worst enemy.

The ava is odd...100x100 is max or 90x90.
Your quotes are too big, they should be 8px in bitdust two or 12 px in vistor.
nice job with the cammo but stop putting in noise.
