Classic players?

Just wondering if anyone still plays classic. If not...why, and if so, why? Just wondering because I've always thought classic was better than exp because of the dueling. Only problem is now there's not many players. : (. Thanks for your input.

I loved classic back in 1.09, but now I don't like it as much since the barbs are so much worse. They whirlwind way to fast and your weapon breaks in two seconds.

Yeah, I was working on that, : ). I think the BvB duels are still pretty good and the SvS gears are pretty good because of the fact your win depends on your gear. And most of it is rare, which makes it more rewarding to have. To have a better rare than someone is much better than haveing a better unique...the uniques aren't as good as rares(in a sence of knowing you went and found one of the best rares). An example of this would be a naga or battle hammer for dueling. If you find a 150+ battle hammer or a 130+ naga...you have a good dueling weapon for a bvb. If you build the character right, the str lowest possible for all of your gear, and the most life to out live the other barb, then you'd win. But in exp most of the items are duplicated (not actual dupes of items, but everyone has tals or w/e). I just believe you can personalize your characters a lot more in classic than in expansion; thus making classic better in my opinion. Thanks for the feed back, I'd like to see more opinions on this subject.

dupe rare godlys like imps, L.grasp, sloop, eturn etc started from 1.09 classic, thats y its really good..

I'm not in it for the duped rares, I'm talking about classic ladder. I like that much better than exp items. It's not personal enough. Keep it coming. Thanks.
