cheaters choice mod 3 i need help

is it hard to make a mod?

i was wondering because i thought about of making my own mod

Makeing a simple mod that only has new items and things like that isnt to hard, basically you need 3 tools
1 a mpq extractor
2 a spreadsheet program
3 a tbl editor to edit the text shown in the game

Then again makeing a big mod that changes maps grafix game funktions and other big things is more complicated coz you need to learn so meny different areas. Iv been working on a huge mod for about a year now and it far from ready.
Makeing mods requires serious dedication, and nervs of steel coz getting errors and fixing bugs is a part of modmakeing. And once you learn one thing you notice you need to learn another, and another...

I never tried making mods...yet, but the best advice i can give (this goes for all INFO!) is do RESEARCH. Everybody keeps forgetting that there are search engines, so use google,yahoo,infoseek,etc...to find stuff to research.

Ever since Spitfire posted that CCM3 came out I've been hooked to your site waiting for the next screenshot of your Volf's Mod. Keep up the hard work! I can't wait to run through the Docks of Amn, fight in the underground tavern, and explore the new places that will be in your mod.

As far as CCM3 goes, I love it and can hardly wait for CCM4. Great job and keep up the work!

Sorry but your gonna have to wait a bit for my Volf mod to be released, iv worked on it almost a year now and there still is alot to do, i will ad more screenshots as soon as i have the time, but first il finnish CCM4, i have a bug in it that gives me gray hairs but il get it fixed eventually.
