How to get high runes?

I am playing single palyer with meh friend, and we were wondering how do you get high runes without makng new characters and doing forges?

the only way your going to get them is if you get really lucky. you cant even transmute forge runes to get them since you arent on "ladder"

that sucks! they should make it so single player is like playing ladder...that would make more sense. i guess u guys are just goin to have to be really really lucky....or....play online of coarse.

Back when me and my friends used to play single player, the highest we got was a lem, well played Invisible... but yea, now we play multi player, played for over a year and a half, got banned, now we startin over again.

But either way multiplayer pwns single player, only way your going to get good rune is with mod or EXTREME luck

since you single player, do you use stuff like c3po lol? and might as well use mods to make it better. all your friends must be using this mod though if you're going to play it online with them.

Well if you want high runes fast you shuld boost people in hell for there hf q.

You can transmute all runes in Single Player.

Your best options are to do forgerushes, most constant income, other than that, do cow with 2 players on players 8 (type /players 8), and get lucky. In Single Player I got a Ber from Eldritch, but I would not really recommend running him for runes (he's good for exp though). I actually made a legit lvl 91 amazon in Single Player (it's a whole lot harder than on bnet).

Anyway, just do a lot of cow, or run high level areas on a high number of players.
