Ok...i have this problem with my computer that only happens when i am online, sometimes. I havent been able to go to any sites because sometimes my cpu usage goes to 100%. at first i thought it was a virus, trojan, or worm...but after running sweeps with Spy sweeper, norton, Spybot S&D. and the microsoftantispyware beta...and found nothing(at least nothing that was causing the problem. But i had Task Manager open before i went online to see what was causing this problem...and it says that svchost.exe (SYSTEM) is taking up around 90 CPU causing me to run at 100%. so why the hell is svchost.exe taking up so much cpu? and what does svchost.exe do? thank you for any help.

svchost.exe is spyware if I remember right. Its a person who connects to your IP address and eats up your bandwidth.

I know the link you provided. I used to have a guy connecting to my computer under a program called svchost.exe.
