MF Sorc SUX
#1
Ok, so I built this blizz sorc to do mf runs on ladder until the season ends...

Now, I can't do hell runs(andy/count/meph) at level 85 partially because of my resistances(and my mercs) but also because there are so many cold immunes out there. I have no other effective attack but cold ones.

So, what did I do wrong or what should I do right and build another sorc for mf runs...

Ideas please?

I have a cold sorc and I run andy/meph/pindle fine. Don't do countess, they're all immune. And get your merc a decent eth bonehew or insight, and put a gloom on him for res. I don't know what you can do for res on your sorc, right now I have positive resistances, except for poison which is -10 or -5

My resistance is all perfect but i had to use umd items. Too much mf would make the drops suck. I have Umd shacko, umd Head hunters, and i use tals armor.

you could always try a meteorb, i used to be crazy about them, but now i think lite sorc's are also pretty cool...but lite sorc's would be better for rune finding then mf.

Sorcs are just a pain, i hate the scream they make when they die. It really starts to **** you off. Hammerdins are like the best way to go now.

I have 500 something and I don't think mf that low is better. I've just found an eth runemaster, eth treks, and lots of arachnids.

Edit: Damn nvm runemaster is only 3os Sad

So, since I can't afford a hammerdin(enigma, hoz, etc), what sorc could I build to do mf runs?

Blizz sorc is the best for mf runs, but if you don't want to, try a lite sorc, my friend does countess and pindle with it.

I have made blizz sorc, lite sorc, meteor sorc.
My blizz sorc was the first one, so she is a bit crap. BUT she does meph/pindle fine.
Meteor does fine meph/pindle/andy. only problem is those fallens...
Lite sorc is good(IMO) at andy, and she does fine countess and VERY good pindle... but very slow meph runs...
I would say that the blizz sorc is the easiest to use, but the light sorc is alot funner(is that the right word?:confusedSmile
The meteor sorc is just... Good meph and pinde... Not very fun IMO Sad
