Max Block Rate Help Please

Do paladins need max block sence max holy shield already gives max or what? Im sorry im noob i dont know these things!

any melee paladin needs max block, so just plan your build first on open, use your cta if u plan on getting one, then switch back to holy shield and check your block, if your block is less then 75%, put enough pts into dex until it is at 75%.
