here are some steps u can do to stop ur realm downs taking so long(i.e. 1-48 hours)
Step 1. go to your command prompt, if u dont know what this is, go to start, run, and type in "cmd"
Step 2. type "cd.." 2 times till u get to C:/
Step 3. next type in ipconfig an u should get ip address, gateway, ect.(make sure u remeber the ip address)
Step 4. now type ipconfig /release
Step 5. now type ipconfig /renew after about 10-15 minutes, make sure its different from ur origonal ip address(best time to do its is noon-1pm)
Step 6. now ur ready to get back in the game.
Hope this helps some of u botters and scammers out there.

I've tried that and it didn't do a thing to r/d, also typing cd\ is a few seconds faster then cd twice. >_>

This only works with dynamic IPs. Some DSL, all 56k. Cable is incapable. I believe if you get DSL you can ask your provider for more than one IP but it costs more money.
