Here is a good build for single player. Most people will probably on battle-net but there are a few that enjoy playing by themselves. I did before i got the internet. Give me suggestions but this build is really poor and depends on how you go along. When i got to Norm Diablo, he ended up killing himself. Okay lets get started.
Point Displacement
Max Summon Spirit Wolf
Max Summon Dire Wolf
Max Summon Grizzly Bear
Max Spirit of the Barbs
If you get any farther then place points equally into the other two spirits.
Weapon
Look for a wand that gives charges to Iron Maiden. I had a lvl 1 Iron Maiden Wand and it served me really well.
Shield
Rhyme is really easy to make and is pretty decent enough.
Armor
This is the most expensive, Bramble. To make this build effective you need Bramble. I did not have bramble when i had a duel with big D but it would help although it would be hard to get the runes. Before that get Stealth.
Boots
Any thing that gives to runwalk speed or damage returned.
Gloves
Look for gloves with good mods
Belt
Hsarus teamed with the shield is a good alternative
Helm
A helm that gives plus to your summons
Rings
FasterCastRate or Cathans Rings
Amulet
Any rare amulet with resists
Charms to stats are good
In the beginning it is really hard. Your wolves do not do enough damage but once you get Spirit of the Barbs it gets easy with the wand with charges.
Andy and Duriel are really hard but act 3 becomes a breeze. Your dire wolves do good damage with Heart of the Wolverine. Only use Spirit of the Barbs against hard enemies and act bosses. It is so much easier, just use your animals with the wand early on and you will get through. It gets harder through nightmare and hell but by then your summons will be stronger. Physical Immunes are your bane though. This Build got me really far and it happened by accident. If you do not get a bramble then try for a act2 merc with thorns but i prefer bramble with a holy freeze merc. Any Questions or comments are welcome. Sats are distributed mostly into health but none in dexterity or energy. Strength is only for the amount you need.
