Computer restart error

i get this error when i am playin d2 sometimes...

it blue screens and shows this, if anyone knows a solution to this problem PLEASE help me out here. Thx

May be because of a bad CD, slow computer, or you need a re-install.

ok, the CD is brand new, the computer isnt slow, and i have re-installed about 5 times. and about the blue screen thingy, it happens when i have d2 loaded, i can play any of my other games and its fine, but when i play d2 it starts spazzin out, then it will restart alot unless i turn it off for a few minutes.

You get the blue screen when either a program trys to execute an illegal action or the computer is in danger of being unable to operate. Its a safety mechanism for the computer. I would update all of your drivers for a start.

you may have to buy some new sytem parts as well, but more likely you wont have to.. updating drivers should be fine, i mean cmon its only d2, you prolly play more extensive games anyway

thats what im talkin about, i play games way more extensive than d2. but d2 seems to be only 1 that does it, this cpu has good stuff in it. good enough for halo2, underground2, WoW, etc. This kinda pisses me off too, and i just got some drivers for my graphics card and mess yesterday. so im stumped.
