Help Me MF

Hey people. Uhh, i'm pretty new to the magicfind scene. I have a storm/orb sorc who is descent. She has about 520 mf. Where should i be mfing the most and in what difficulty? I'd really like to find some awesome items doing this so if you could help me please do! Also, which merc should i get an put some nice *** gear on? Thanks in advance.

This little post here is presuming that you're ladder. For the items.

MF in Hell, if you can handle it well, doing any or all of these bosses:
Andariel
the Countess
Mephisto
Travincal and the Council in Travincal
Thresh Socket (before the crystalline passage in act 5 i believe)
Eldritch (at the first waypoint in act 5)
Shenk (also near the first waypoint in act 5)
Pindleskin (red portal that you get in Harrogath after rescuing Anya)

If you do those bosses, you're more likely to get good items from MF'ing. The thing is that you might not find items right away, and become frustrated, which is common. Repetition, repetition, repetition. That's the only way to get items.

Get a mercenary from Act 2, in Nightmare mode, with the defensive skills. This mercenary, besides employing the Jab technique, gives an aura of Holy Freeze, which slows down enemies and makes them infinitely easier targets for your orbs. Use an ethereal Andariel's Visage helmet, an Insight (runeword with meditation aura for mana regeneration) polearm, and a Fortitude runeword in an ethereal archon plate with the best defense you can get. I'm sure that you will also get some differing opinions after mine. As for me, I use an ethereal Crown of Thieves for the life leech, and an ethereal Stone runeword with 3 thousand defense. Dang man. Thanks foog. I'll work on it. So far i'm sure i can do alll of nm but im not sure about hell. If i can't do hell should i stay in nm at those places or just make a new sorc? Also, do you play on uswest or useast? Or would that have any difference? Ne wayz man, i thank you very much, and if you play uswest, hope to see you on sometime.
