Need help on lightingorb sorc

I want to build a sorc with thunderstorm and ice ord.. which skill whould i max and wat stats should i put? thnx for help..

Then Stats:
STR:Enough for gear
DEX:None to 50
Vit:Rest
Energy:None-100
I think adding nothing to DEX and Energy is better than putting some points in!

and im guessing you know items? fathom, nw, spirit, arachs, maras, sojs, travs, chancies or whatever gloves, and an orb ormus.

dude... try the build out for the dmg.. on i think was http://www.d2items.com/skills.php go put in the points and check out dmg.. caz im so damn sure itss hella low for lightning ./. so think twice

i would use rare resist boots instead of travs for pvp, but travs are fine for pvm, total dmg from 10 cold gcs,+cta+anni+the equipment foog listed all with -5/5 cold dmg facets is 1510-1565, with -15% pierce from items, and 235% mastery, or 250% mastery if u want to add the facet dmg. this does 1510-1565x2.5 for pvp =3775-3912. after the /6 pvp penalty it should do 629-652, if your opponent has 0 resist, it would. i think, with 75 cold resist, the dmg would be way lower

frost nova, ice blast and blizzard all are synergys of ice bolt...shouldn't you max it out too?

no, that just increases ice bolt's damage, not orb's. you wont be using bolt, just orb.

plus, you wont have enough pts.

It wouldn't matter in this case, because you'll never get lower than -100% resistance, no matter what.
