Question on runewords and uniques

Is it possible to put a runeword in a unique weapon such as a homunculus?

Okay, so base weapons and armors for runewords... okay now to another question. Which runewords would be best for a level 80 act 2 hell merc?

No, I just don't play it enough to know these things. I really just started playing to get better, as opposed to before where I just goofed around with my friends. Hell, until a few weeks ago I didn't know what a runeword was and I was buying my gear from shops.

i find it impossible to make a runeword out of homunc especially since, even if it was possible to make a unique/runeword, homunc would need 2 sockets, since some of the lowest runewords need 2 runes. anyway no u cant make them. also u can use insight on a merc or infinity if u have enough mana/mana shield and resists to prevent getting your mana drained. insight is best for a pally though.

Yeah I have like 717 normally and 900ish with frostburns on. I guess I'll start working on getting insight.

Dude, you are in no need of mana. All of my chars unless there going double soj have no more than 500.

a bone necro would want white in a +3 bone spirit +3 bone spear two socketed wand. DOL+IO and a head that gives the same skills(+3 bone spirit +3 bone spear) splendor i think its ETH+LUM you can get up to a total of +11 to bone spear and bone spirit not including your other items

Oh, no skills aren't a problem. I have a nice boneshade wand that adds like 9 points to skills as well as a homunculus, SOJ, enigma, griffon's eye.. it's my merc. He's got Que-Hagans wisdom, bonehew, and a rockstopper. One thing I regret with this necro is that I only have like 600 health and low resistances. :blank:
