Simple fact is, I don't trust anyone on B.net, the only person I ever trust to enter one of my xfer games is my friend Mike, who lives in this city and knows that there is actual real-life consequences for stealing my gear.

(IE: I won't get drunk with him and his woman no more)

i trust most of my friends from school for xfering. Sometimes i do with peps i meet on b.net, but its after i know them for awile.... and they owe me:
i helped one of em set up d2jsp, account is ogre#### on these forums,.
i helped another set up c3po (i know it doesnt sound hard, but its a little hard to understand the first time around, and even harded to explain what to do)

They owe me, but i usualy transfer with myself anyway (i have 2 cd keys, and i just join my own game twice)


btw i saw dclone in trav.... it was after i did meph.

Yeh, I trust most/all of the people on my list, because they know i'm a nice person (which i am), and i know their a nice person (at least to me). If anything ever happens to everyone, while yes it does suck, just remember that these are a bunch of pixels, and you will not win a Nobel Prize or anything for playing this game. If you ever feel ticked off at Diablo 2, just go and play another of the zillion games available out there in our world, and have fun with that one. Once you're fed up with that one, then move onto another game, and then perhaps one day when you realize in most multiplayer games there will always be that one perso that is out to screw everyone else you can return back to Diablo and just shrug those kinds of people off.

No, Dclone can appear at the closest Superunique monster.. So, thats usually Raknishu or w/e (stones by tristam) or eldritch (act 5).

Unless your in a different act. Which nobody ever is, so I have no idea.


Edit: Hey kids I have another story for you. About two weeks ago, one of my best, and oldest friends on b.net stole a arch enigma, fort, and botdz during an Xfer, I wasn't that mad, i mean hey its just a game... Right?

So I was still his friend for awhile, and just this week he kept asking me to do stuff, so I rushed and chaoses 3 of his chars (which took like all day), and he said he was going to pay me back for it.

But about an hour later he said his sorc needed to level 4 more times, So I tried to make a game called "Chaos1"... (taken) Chaoz1 (taken) Chaos-01 (suprisingly taken). So I made "noob-chaos-1" and he didn't come for about a minute.

So I whispered him and He started to swear at me, because I was apparently implying that he was a noob. Then the little bastard accused me of using him for his items. He further explained to me that I was just sucking up to him so I could steal his items, and I missed my chance because he was going to pay me back. Because I needed it, I'm the noob.. Right?

After that he told me "you ficked up man, i was goinna by a dupe progam of ebay and send it 2 u, but now i know u were just usin me" <-- his spelling errors, not mine.

Conclusion:
Its true, you can't trust anybody on battle.net
