The Date.....



I waited long in anticipation for him to guide me to a beautiful place....

Counting days,hours,and moments all building excitement inside me!!

He smiles and extends his hand gently grasping mine,as I peer lovingly at his face....

Holding me so tenderly,I tremble...knowing he is near me ....my heart set free!!

His word to me he kept ,and all my desire cascaded like a waterfall....

Spilling ,and flowing through my senses like sweet sumer rain....



As he holds me I know that I am lost in him,he posseses my all....

My womans heart bursting,loving him so much,a kept promise I gain....

As time draws near for my date with him to end...

He leads us back to safety,always guarding me with the utmost of care....

Knowing in the deepest reaches of my heart he is a forever friend!

He gave me so much of himself on this date,still....wanting more....do I dare?

YES,YES,YES...If there is but a chance ...a hope of love....our feelings being the same..love?

Then I will soar on gossamer wings into sweet loves arms...

For now...I am replete with the happiness from this date....like a well fitting glove...

As I wrap poigniant memoriers around my soul , his date keeps me warm!





Then I will soar on gossamer wings....forever flying.....

Well...I dont know how "sensitive" you are about criticism so I'll just say thank you for posting in the Writting section and leave it at that. Let me know if you want nitty gritty.

Actually I wrote this about my husband in FFXI ....after the Hurricain hit this summer ,I was without power for a week,had damage to my house,and 3 out of town guests living with me !!! I was thinking of *good things* and not washing dishes by hand in pots of water outside =.=.....so 1 night as all slept I wrote this by candle light....~.0 It is not a great work of art...just what was in my heart at the moment...and expressed on paper ~shrugs~ I can post a few others I have written...some have been published in poetry books...although I do not think they are all that great!
