given the circumstances:

I keep F&#$*ing up an puttin skill points in wrong place.

if it was a pvm char i would not really give a damn, but im working my arse off trying to build a killer pvp character with no mistakes.

I seem to remember actually losing a level when doing a glitch rush. at first i thought i found a glitch for infinite skill points when i collected my 300 bodies and leveled upon picking them back up.

i went ahead and got my guy rushed into nm and let him die pvm in excess of thirty times and still didnt lose that level i wanted to, just the near full exp bar. i died ten more times after it was empty and no exp change.

im pretty damn sure though, that i lost a level in the chaos sanctuary with a level 5-6 necro while doing a glitch rush...

IS there a WAY to lose a level? what am i missing? or....was i just drunk and *thought* i lost a level?

I seem to have found that when you lose experience to the point that it starts going negative, then you start loseing level gains during Nightmare. Its even more noticeable in Hell mode.

i have never lost a lvl on closed bnet. if u put too much % exp gain items on open bnet your experience starts going backwards and u loose a lvl sometimes, i think u keep the skill pts though. i think u might have been too wasted.
