I'd like to thank everyone on d2sector for their help in getting this new player going. Thanks to everyones advice on where to mf, what to do for a build and what your builds gear should be, I have finally found myself among those I once worshipped, This is what my character stands at now.

PvM Hammerdin build,
LvL 80, Name: Artureal

Gear:
Weapon: 34% FCR Spirit Sword
Shield: Uped and Umed Hoz 503 defense, 186% ED
Boots: War Trav 153%
Belt: Arach 20% FCR 98% ED
Armor: 14% Sup Archon Enigma: 1348 Defense,
Helm: Um'd Shako
Amulet 2/2 Seraphs

No real rings to talk about at this time, no pcombat charms or anything special like that, I realize that my build may not be perfect, and that I do not have some of the godliest gear, What I am saying is that with the help I received from d2sector I was able to obtain gear like this..which albeit isn't the godliest..but it's pretty damn close in my opinion.

I'd like to thank those who make builds, test them and tweak them
I'd like to thank those who make price lists so I don't get ripped off.
I'd like to thank those who make guides for mfing.
I'd like to thank the mods for making sure this stuff isn't horrid trash

And most of all, I'd like to thank anyone who wasn't rude to me when I first joined, your kindness made me stay.

Without the knowledge I've obtained from being with this forum, I would still be a lvl 30 sorceress trying to level by myself, and trying to get all the skills.
And I do mean all.

I didn't know about synergies

Well, I've said what I've had to say. I think this thread belongs in Small talk, but if the mods deem it must be moved to Character Development or whatnot, so be it.

umm. yeah, synergies are vigor and blessed aim i think, max conc and bhammer, and holy shield, then 1 in redemption if your gonna yamb baal bot, finish with defiance

Thankfully I know that now, and Artureal is owning just like all the rest of those crazy Hammerdins.

I used to wonder before why my damage was so low with my Sorceress, took me awhile to figure out that one, I blame the fact that I was blinded by uniques.
My logic was that people were that strong because of their gear, that skills didn't really matter.

Now I realize there is a happy medium, max the skills and get the best gear you can.

umm id say skills do count... i used to have lv 80 sorc doing only 400 orb and i would got pk and own.. pretty much gear is good but it takes lots of skills to duel and so wat

Ah, yes. I remember when I first started playing, too. I had such trouble getting above level 30. My barb also sucked, and he only did about 900 damage. I have a barb I don't play anymore that does massive amounts of damage and a level 90 bone necro that does a good bit too. D2Sector hasn't really helped me out much at all, mostly people I've met in game.
