first one is no border, weak text, weak anim, weak backgroundf.

second has a border, a better bg, but the text needs to be a diff. font, smaller, and lower opacity w/ a black stroke. second one is better.


if that color is what you're going for, it's fine. maybe blend render a little more.

-Foog- Very good blended, Nice brushed, Good text and font, very good job.. also, ive never really found out how i make those borders like you got in your sig.. i think its called Overlay borders.. How?

could use a grunge background instead of an abstract one. you got the same coloration as me, nice use of your name. I like that text. Maybe lower opacity a little. to make these borders...make layer, make 1 px black 50% on overlay stroke.
make new layer, make a 3 px white 50% overlay stroke.
make new document that's 6 pixels less on both length and height, and transparent bg, make a 1 px 50% overlay stroke, copy it, close that document, paste it in. play wtih blending modes with the white one if you want.

Sweet job B!tch, I would totally put a montion blur on Goku, lasso the face and invert the selection (ctrl+shift+i) and blur it a lil, either montion or gauss (sp?) or even better a radial blur set to zoom. Also try bring down the saturation of the blues on Goku's clothing, just a tad. Try Alien League or A.D. Mono for a font. Other than that it's really good.
