Realm downs - help
#1
Hey, I use the d2jsp/YAMB scripts to do mephisto and pindleskin runs and I was wondering if anyone using this bot gets extremely long realm downs? Because I get banned(realm down) from uswest for days. My minimum game length time is 200 seconds which is default. And the weird thing is, I copied my d2jsp folder and sent it to my friend so he has the same exact settings and delays as me, and he does 700 runs and doesnt get banned at all. Makes completely no sense. Is it because I'm a meteor sorc and he's a blizzard sorc?

And if you're wondering, my run log looks like this:

Success Rate = 76.57%
Total runs = 318
Total kills = 487
Total skips = 46
Total failures = 2
Total errors = 30
Total aborts = 2
Total deaths = 11
Total time = 26428801ms
Total exp. gained = 241385658
Total exp. lost = 93153486
Last run time (may not be completed) = 24657ms
Best full run time = 30157ms
Average full run Time = 83109ms
Exp. gained on last boss run = run aborted
Last per-boss run time = run aborted
Best per-boss run time = 20843ms
Average per-boss run Time = 54268ms

and when my friend gets like 56 errors 30 something deaths and way more everything-he still doesnt get realm downs. I hope someone can help me out :/
I have siblings that play this game and hate it when I get them banned.
Thanks

you need to stay in games 3 min or more to keep from realm down and to keep from getting lots of errors and restarts keep d2jsp and yamb up to date

That can't be right because my friend has a 2 minute game length and he never gets realm down. And I must be getting detected somehow because they ban me for 24 hours

hummm not sure i got the 48 hour ip ban when i was using jhj (which i still think is the best bot ever made!!) but d2jsp should stall and everything preventing that

My bot does stall at the end of the game waiting for the 200 game length to be reached. Same for my friend, same everything happens and I get 24 hour realm downs and he doesn't get any, ever.

Really? That must be why I've been getting realm downs lately.

[Edit] My minimum game time is 200 seconds too :blank:

For Windows:
  1. Click Start and then Run
  2. Type telnet uswest.battle.net 6112. Note that uswest in this example should be replaced by the site you a having problems reaching (Asia, Europe, USEast, USWest). Now press the Enter key.
  3. A new screen will appear.
  4. If your connection is successful, you will see a cursor in the top left corner of this screen. Type the letter C on your keyboard to connect to the Battle.net chat server.
  5. If your connection is not successful, you will simply see an hourglass or the screen will automatically shut down indicating that you have not connected to Battle.net correctly
(Only works with MS-DOS I think)

What does that allow you to do exactly? just connect to battle.net when you have realm down? and when I type in my username it types in 2 letters when I only put in 1 letter it's weird.. like if I wanted to type in perfecto. it'd look like this: ppeerrffeeccttoo
