I wasn't sure which forum this belonged in, sorry. What are you guys' favorite monsters to bot on?

My favorite monsters to bot on are the ones before baal lol

countess, pit, andy, pindle eldritch, shenk, and thresh socket.

Countess is also nice to bot on but the immunes are hard if u got a cold sorc

I'd say Baal is best, he drops better than Pindle if you ask me. (More items more often)

But sometimes people can't bot off him as easily...you need at least a good hammer pally to kill him and get through the monsters with a bot

You need high life and blocking doesn't hurt either and the ever important FHR if you get in big groups of monsters.

Paly are about the only one that can go through pindle in hell by themselves because no monster are immue to the hammers, unlike the other characters monsters have immune to cold,lighting,fire,physical,etc.

Yea, Pindle is pretty fast, but it also R/D often too because of the quick making and exiting of games.

He uses a merc, he was just pointing out that pallys are self-sufficient; that is, they can survive without one. I can survive with my lite sorc because 75% of the time, pindle isn't lite immune. when he is, my merc tanks his ***.

Hammerdin's are the worst for pindle, because the room is small and your hammers hit the walls alot. Blizz sorc or lightning sorc are best for pindle, because even though there are immunes, your merc should be able to tank pindle and kill pindle if he's decent.

Ahem, some monsters are "Immune to Magic" and hence immune to the hammers as well. But almost all of these are either undead or demons, so the hammer will ignore their resistance. But still, there are immune monsters.
