Eth runes work in PK?

I was told once they didn't do anything

I a Griswald Paladin with 4 Eth runes in weapon killed me and another Paladin EASILY, slower attack, less damage, didn't miss once, first attack killed us. Eth runes work or a bug somehow?

I think they do work, but its lowered down to 1/8 or somthing, so if you have 100% then you really only have 12 or so.

Eth runes work in PvP but they are 1\2 degraded

Yea was pretty bad, but he killed the other pally [so did I] but was still kind of odd. Goto Paladin Guides and find my guide, and that's basically my gear. Build is a bit different now because remade but pretty close. And 20k AR now.

there was a time in 09 where there was an eth bug.. this particular bug caused the anyone who wielded a weapon with the eth rune in it to cause their oponnent to have -25% enhanced def. sounds normal right? wrong. normally it would do -25% ed. but instead the eth bug did -25% of the opponents total def. meaning if he had 2000 def, he would then have a negative amount of def, instead of 3/4.

my opinion. no i dont think it works as 100%, your pally probly just has low def or was against a strong one. ill take some time to check this out though.

No the Paladin had next to no life, hammerdin killed him in one and I could servive a few, I had just over 20k AR.

I also wasted 3 Um runes and got myself a 4 Eth Gris wep and did nothing, so I'm still not sure why this guy did so good, but he didn't miss at all. But was weak... was odd.

If thats the case it shud work then....Not sure whats pvp penalty..

Even if his AR was higher, he would still miss, I fought him about 4 times and each time his zeal didn't miss at all.
