eh, i guess i could try this, but i'm not that great at developing chars so it may suck, lol. Also know that as you mf, you may find better items that you'll want to replace these items with.

Gear:
Helm- Tarnhelm

Weap- The Oculus (i dunno if its too expensive for ya, i guess then just some rare orb with mf, dunno lol)

Armor- 4os armor with ptopaz's in it, like u said (or u could always try a skullders)

Shield- Splendor (eth+lum, has mf and +1 skill), Spirit (tal+thul+ort+amn, has fcr and +2 skills), lidless

Gloves- Chance Guards

Belt- Goldwrap

Boots- War Travs (or if not them then maybe some rare boots with mf on them)

Amulet- just some magic ammy with mf on it (even better if it has +sorc skills and mf)

Rings- 2x Nagels

Number one, level a orb sorceress to level 60. Gear dont need to be awsome, but i suggest you try to get a wizzard spike as soon as you can, or you just get it for a few P.gems.
Level a holy freeze merc together wich your sorc. Do sanctuary runs alone in nightmare. The flawless gem drop there is awsome. When you are filled up with them, start making normal act1 telerun. This means you teleport trough act1 from akaras camp to the castle. Look for gem shrines. This is the fastest way to get p.gems. If you have maphack, then all shrine places will be marked with a white spot on the map. Trade your first p.gems for an insight polearm, then you get infinnitive mana. Continiue this, and i assure you you get minimum 100 p.gems in one day.
