Advice please?

I have a Jang Bong staff with 1 socket.
Any recommendations on what I should put in it?

Eh, i dunno how long you're going to hold onto it, but for now you could either put in a jewel that has some stats that you need, or i dunno maybe like a pemerald in case you run out of mana or something you could use it for a little melee and possibly knock down their health some. Of course if you decide to use it for melee you could also try a pskull for the dual leech.

Jewel- for whatever stats you need (for example life or mana)
Perfect emerald- +100 poison damage over 7 seconds
Perfect skull- Steals 4% life, steals 3% mana

Hope that helps ya out a bit buddy, but eventually you'll want to a staff that is a bit better.

I run out of life & mana a lot.

What about an Eth rune (-25% to target defense)?
Or should I wait on that?

Nah, i guess just stick to the skull; you're sorc seems to be better of being a spellcaster then going melee on them.
