Once you uninstall Diablo II, go into C:\Program Files\ and delete the Diablo II folder, then try to reinstall and see if that works, should.

If the above doesn't work (It most prob will) uninstall and delete diablo then reinstall to a different path and always install your mods into a different folder and just make a shortcut for d2 that starts in the mod folder.

when you un-install diablo the folder in c:/Program Files/Diablo II is still there, DELETE that and then reinstall and never run the mods again, i see that there just a waste of space myself. if that does not work then you can completly restore your computer by the disk that your computer manufacturer gave to you with the computer that you purchased.
