I've been thinking, there should be requirements to get into the clan. I know that the rules are if you're caught scamming or whatever you get a neg rep, but what if you aren't caught? Then people will go around saying that DIIS is a bunch of scammers and stuff. I'm pretty sure that all the respected members around here don't scam, (Tool, Jedi, Foog, Silver, etc.) so we don't have to worry about that. But all the new members that are coming here...well, you never know right? Check the thread with all the new members in it, a lot of them have less than 250 or even 100 posts and stuff. I'm just not sure that it should be a completely open clan.
Requirements should be like, 100 posts and (So that we at least SORT OF know the person) positive rep. (Not a number, just not negative)
Not too high requirements, but just something to acomplish before you are permitted to join clan DIIS.
New members, if you're going to flame me, keep it to pm's.

I got a better idea.
Let anyone join, but only let people with 100+ posts wear the DIIS tag?

If they're going to spend their time spamming to get into a dead clan, then they something better to do.

well i got a question if u elt them in and they dont have the required ammount of post's, whos going to stop them form putting the tag in their name, its not like when u make a clan on wc3 or ne thing, ne1 can put watever tag they want whenever they want and no one can do ne thign about it, so u should have a requried ammount of posts, have done somethign to try or to help the forum, and have nvr been caught scamming,i think those should be some reqs, or if not something they have done for the forums but should be able to trust.

If people played by that logic, people would be putting every clan tag they see on their chars.
Don't let them join the clan then, they can still make tagged characters.
Instead of being asses, why don't we just let them be tagged at 100+ posts?

i was just saying that we shouldnt make it incredibly hard or incredibly easy because too easy too many DIIS, would get a bad rep., too high of requirements and ppl would jsut start putting the tag wheter d2s said so or nto, no one could stop them

So tell me, ever thought that maybe the clan wouldn't be dead if you guys were actually trying to preserve it rather than spend all your free time in the forums? >8)
