i think that mousepad is going to take a lot longer than he originally planned to make his mh and i for one will not be downloading it for at least a week or 2 so if it is also not safe i wont be one of the people banned for it

:laugh: L M A O is all I can say. Granted I Play Counter-Strike and cheating is lame. But to ban so many people for a maphack?! DEAR GOD! Don't let people see where they're going! NOT THAT! LOL.... come on B.net...dupes/bots/ect. granted not good. but a maphack?! Also by what i gather, easymap was only able to do exactly that...show you the map. It's like over populating prisons for misdemeiner violations. "parking ticket huh? off to jail buddy!" it's a bit ridiculous. Just my opinion. lmao... They told you using maphack was cheating and said they would punish people who used it, They finally caught people so they got rid of them. In a way that was a good move on their part because a shit load of people are going to WoW.. That means more money for them. So while your complaining they're gonna be raking in more cash.

Just an idea. Well more of a wish really. Ok, a dream. Maybe they'll just temporarily "suspend" accounts, so that people who were "trying to cheat their way onto ladder" or something stupid like that, get punished but get their accounts back later, when the characters are hopelessly behind.
I mean, the cd-key, I don't mind, I got a couple more I can use..but the account...I just traded a titan's for a pcombat gc, that was so cool...heh.

i said this somewhere in another post...but i think it bears repeating....i dont think blizz can reactivate your accounts if they wanted, i believe it is more of an account delete than an account close....i could be wrong though

To be honest I am part of those who got their account banned for using the EasyMap MH. I am neither proud of it, nor do I feel guilty.

I think Enigm4 hit the point. An example:

My father has a clause written in his contract, that the day he quits his company by whatever means (free will, getting sacked ...) he will NOT be allowed to join another company that works in the same branch, especially when he would get the same responability.

And he signed it years ago. Now the point is: It's a completely ILLEGAL clause and THOUGH you have signed (which means accnowledged) a freshly promoted lawyer can kick it out in NO TIME without ever seeing the interior of tribunal.

So what do I care what Blizzard or who the ***k ever writes in the EULA or gets tatooed on the left cheek of their a** ?

Man, I am quite sure that IF blizzard distributed the MH to "make some ethnique cleansing" and especially call us AND make us "criminals" (L O L) for using a stupid maphack (why the hell they just simply include it in their next patch ?), they did something completely ILLEGAL ...... not to talk about that D2loader detection (though I think it's technically NOT possible (in MY opinion)):

As soon as you buy a CD, a game or even a DVD etc you HAVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE PRIVATE COPIES !!!!!!!!!!
But how the hell you want a copy to run if the f*****g game detects that there is not the right CD/DVD in the drive ?
So therfor NO-CD's are used for BACKUPS (<-- ever heard of ?)

I hope you do know that the correct tomb is listed in your quest log (if your doing Duriel for the quest). Also each of the various tomb markings are always in the same place, and after awhile you get to know where each is so you will know exactly what and where your tomb is off the bat.

Everyone just read Tahu's post; he put it into simple words that everyone will understand. Many people who used the Easymap are also people who used the maphacks and/or the bots in 1.10; if not then shame on you for starting just after a patch when Blizzard updated all of their servers/files so that all hacks were removed, and so that it is easier for them to detect anything that tries to come in.
