merc weapon question

ok i know that this is more than likely some where else on this site, and i looked real quick and didnt find what i was looking for. so if you know where i can find a tread like this one that is already made please redirect me to it. ok this is the question. i am using a act 2 merc. and im looking for a better weapon for him, im using "kelpie snare" and it works well but he needs to do more damage then he does now. can some one please tell me if they know of a new 1.11 unique spear or an older one that would work well for him that would be great; and possibaly what it is worth for trade if you know. thanks in advance for any help.
