uhh, did the patch make this not work? i have a friend who got banned and needs to find out his cd key but this isnt working.. can anyone help? thanks :laugh:

bnet banned the d2 original only. so he need to find out the expansion key because he lost it but he foudn out he had a extra d2 original key, this happened to me as well but i knew my keys ;D

yep, only the diablo 2 original was banned, if you dont believe me, read the bnet forums, i have started over again
 but i might get the other key back since its 1 month ban! heh

Well, that was pretty smart of bnet to ban only the classic keys =P. Maybe they did it on purpose so the poeple who got banned only needs the LOD cd key.

crazy. i assumed both keys would be banned. whats this about 1 month tho?

umm no, check if you like, Micahw said that only d2 classic was banned and im 100% sure cause i got a new classic key and now it works ;D

The show CD key file does not work anymore.
Only your Classic CD key gets teh ban. Could be a perm, could be 30 days. Time will tell.

It said on the site if you are a repeated offender you get your cd key banned for ever.
