Ip Temp Ban without a hack/bot?

Im not sure if this goes in this section but any ways..
I was doing pindle runs quite fast on my sorc only in nightmare difficulty and it kicked me off the realm and on my account it says "Your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm. Please try to log in at another time." Does this mean they gave me a temporary ip ban without even using a hack or a bot. Because if so thats pretty damn rediculous. I'm pretty sure its not just this one account because I have a few others and they all say the same thing. Unless the realm is screwing up again. Any thoughts or comments?...

its just a realm down....dont worry try to stay in a game for atleast 220 secounds id say?

they dno if your using a hack or a bot but since your making games fast they expect it so you get a realm down not a ban..get it?

ah alright, thanks hopefully thats all it is then. But still you would think they would have some better software in detecting those things then not just assuming.

the realm down isnt soley for stopping bots, its to stop users wasting bandwith. So they punish non botters alike.

How can I avoid this then.. just spend more time in game and take longer to create another one?

yeah stay in an game fer at least 220 seconds.

Blizzard said that if you want to avoid temp ip bans you shuold be in a game for 10 mins to be safe... Did it actually change?

3 mins is the mininum time to guarentee no realm downs unless it changed with the patch. I used to bot for hours with no realm downs with 3 min games (180 seconds)
