game freezing

This started a little after the new patch. maybe 5 days after I started playing ladder.

every 30-60 seconds that I would be in any game it would say that I lost my connection. I was using d2loader so I got diablo II.exe and was using that, now I don't lose connection, instead it just crashes d2 and makes the error message sound.

Someone help me out/
