Smiter pally questions

Hi,

I just saw a smiter pally killed the 3 ubers by himself, so i decided to start one... the only problem i got is that i dont know where to put my skills!

I also wanna know wich gloves and wich wep should i use with my smiter.

alot of smiter can do ubers alone.. mine uses mal'd stormlash scourge & ias/cb gloves, but alternatives for these are bloodfist, dracs for gloves & grief, lacerator for wep... for skills important are holy shield, smite & fanatism..

does defiance help smite any? i know it increases holy shield's def, but i dont think logically it would help smite. i saw someone said to max defiance in their smiter guide though so that confused me

If you're just using it to kill ubers, I doubt you'll need much into defiance. You might want to put 1 point into salvation against meph though.

Lacerator sucks. The only good mods it gives are 33% crushing blow and 33% chance to cast amplify damage, which will override your life tap (if that's what you're going for).

Lacerator does no crushing blow, and it's only used for the chance to cast Amplify Damage. This is devastating, but, of course, less than ideal for any Smiter using Exile or Dracul's Grasp, because it will over ride Life Tap, which is almost required to survive for any length of time.

no, it doesn't but it'll raise your res a little, you'll still hit meph, and if you have crushing blow you'll still take off 1/10 or w/e of his life, and smite doesn't miss. Towards the end you can switch back to fanat.

hi, i am making a smiter right now...but i cant understand the point of maxing holy freeze. i know that i should:

max smite
max fanaticism
max holy shield

most people said that they maxed holy freeze, but why??? it doesnt add to your smite attack, the only thing that it is good for is if u switch is on and it slows the enemy down. i thought that maybe maxing defiance would be good since it added to shield def???, maybe vigor to run faster...i donno...maybe somsone could help me out

There is no reason to max Holy Freeze, you put 1 point in it, so you can flash it every once in a while to slow down your enemies.

ok, i have another question. say that you are a smiter and you have equipment which gives you a 100% of crushing blow and your smtie damage is about 5k. so when u go to fight say meph, and he has 1,000,000 health, does this mean when u attack:

you will do 1/10 of 1,000,000 (100,000) and 5k from your smite damage, or do they not stack..........from what ive heard crushing blow is very good for smiters, and was just wondering if i understand it correctly.

The chance to trigger a crushing blow will not affect your damage, it will only change how often it will trigger (with 100% it will, obviously, trigger on every hit).

But yes, first you do the damage from crushing blow, then you do your regular damage. Hence, they stack.

The damage you do will change however, depending on what you're fighting and on how many players there are in the game. Against bosses in a 1 player game, you will remove 1/8th of your targets life.

Even with the best of the best gear you will get PWNT unless you have the right charms
9x pcombs din torch and anni are necessary to the survival of this guy

This smiter will solo uber if done right

might want 1 raven for cannot be frozen, would have saved you some dex on max block too.

Ok my question is what should I socket my Guilhammes Face with?
I have a 40% Enhanced Damage Jewel but I want to know prolly the best Rune to put into it. I know 40/15 would be nice or an Um. I believe my resists with my Fortitude on are like 67%. So I would like any suggestions on this, I want your opinions on what would be the best to put into. Do not worry about the price, I can find some way to afford it
