Yer its well bad. i was goin 2 the garage and i saw in a newspaper a british family who stayed inside the dome and there were stories of childrape armed robberies and crack addicts. they say 1000's of people have died. my heart goes out to.

I'm glad to some someone finally acknowledged the hurricane. Even if it happened almost a week ago.
Shoot the looters and "gangsta's"? Absolutely. Shoot one for me. In the face of this tragedy, scum of the earth are out in force. Looting, raping, killing. I say leave them there to fester in the slime. They should feel right at home. I'm not saying all deserve to die, just the looters and gangs. And should the city be rebuilt? No. This has been waiting to happen.
I have a good idea. Lets build a city below sea level. On the coast. With a river running through it. And a big-assed lake just to the north. As with so many things in life, just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

i really dont see the point of not looting
what i mean is, you certainly cant go to the local store and buy the food cause no one's there to sell it too you cause they have abandoned it so why not take the food that's just waiting to spoil
and im not talking about stealing tv's and radios. im talking about taking blankets, food, water, and general supplies to survive. people get pretty desperate when they want to live and it's not helped that bodies are floating around like oh so many logs

I agree, taking food is one thing. But looting the footlocker? Cleaning walmart out of guns? Or how about the loser that pried open the donation box at a church? Yeah, it's nice to see the best of people shining through. Ooh, ooh I have a grand Idea. Let's shoot at the helocopters that are coming to save people! Yes, these are all sickness' that can only be cured with a lead pill (bullet).

My condolences to anyone who has lost people or people they cannot reach down there. Although I don't know anyone living down there, I know 3 cops, 1 who is my best friend, who are on their way down there for at least a couple weeks to help out any way they can. Honestly I'm very worried for him, its crazy down there.

I was watching the news and saw a relief helicopter trying to Drop supplies and or/help people............Also saw Fuggin thugs shooting at the helicopter
i mean come on this is something you would see in the middle east...NOT AMERICA
Now dont get me wrong more than half of the people are honest and hard working and would lose their life trying to save another.......but theres some that just amaze me if they want to act in a third world matter...let them goto a third world country
i have no doubt in my mind that if this were to happen anywhere else in the US there would not be the same problems involving crime

he donated 15 dollars to a fundraiser for katrina through somethingawful.com with paypal. however, after 22,000 dollars were sent in, paypal decided to close the account of somethingawful.com's owner and freeze his assetts so the 22,000 dollars went straight into paypal's pocket

its very sad that this disaster happened and wut pisses me off is that we have an idiot president who didnt send help to the victims until the forth day after, we have troops ready to kill people who have suffered so much. there is no medical attention some people cant really move and were left helpless to die heres a quote from two black women they interviewed "There was water coming into the house so the only way to survive was to hang onto a pipe on the ceiling, but my grandma was to weak and couldnt hold on and so she drowned." COME ON PEOPLE, if werent prepared for this disaster do u think were really ready for a terriost attack, do u think bush was really the right choice for our president. We shouldn't have low expectations in a president we need some who will act fast and smart and not decide to take 6-9 month vacation on his first year. If i had money i would try to rescue these people, but unfourtunatley i dont, so the best i can do is donate wutever i can, and i hope u guys do the same.
