Question:
Poison-Scythe Wrote:A man says, "i always lie" is he telling the truth? explain ur answer.
Answer:
Yes.
Riddle: Find the 9 gram marbles riddle
There are ten bags containing marbles. Each bag has at least 10 marbles in it. Nine of the bags contains only marbles weighting 10 grams each. One of the bags contains only marbles weighing nine grams each. Each bag has a different number of marbles in it. All of the marbles look exactly the same. The riddle is how can you know which bag has the nine gram marbles if the only device allowed to be used is a weighing scales which you can use only once?
I'll post the source when the answer is given since the answer is on the same page as the riddle.

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="80%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD width="100%"> "Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is."
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
I spent a quite a bit of time on this one. See if you can get it. *without searching it on the net* I dont know if a lot of people know this one though.
@"I always lie" Hmm...This a bit confusing, but you might get what I mean. If he always lies then that makes this statement a lie, but that also means he is telling the truth. Which then leads back to him lying. Now if he says, "I always lie" then he must be telling the truth.

Q: A man says, "i always lie" is he telling the truth?
A: If the man always lies and says he always lies then he is telling the truth which means he does not always lie. So, yes he is in fact telling a truth.

he can't be telling the truth if he says he always lies cuz itll make a paradox.
