I got a pretty good Tomb Reaver, 40 Resist and 80% mf I'm using for my act 2 Nm Defense merc with a Light sorc doing mostly pindle runs but sometimes meph/cows. He has been leveled from 22 so his resists are good enough with that, what should I use for the 3 open sockets? I'm leaning towards Jah, maybe an Ohm and some elemental damage. Any thoughts? This is a new char on a ladder server, so getting Jah/Ohm will pretty much wipe me out as I have not found much yet.

I might be able to find one, but what about one Jah for ignore defense?

your merc probly wont need to have ignored defense.. if you stick with tomb reaver just shael it 3x probly... its very cheap... i would suggest u getting an eth tomb reaver and shael it 3x, or get an eth reaper's toll and cham it, reaper is godly with its chance to decripify.. u can get resists from uming an armor/helm.
