My 1.11 Summoner build is as follows and can effectively rush yourself through Hell with.
20 Skeleton Mastery
20 Raise Skeleton
1 Raise Skeletal Mage
1 Revive
1 Clay Golem
1 Golem Mastery
1 Summon Resist
1 Blood Golem
1 Iron Golem
1 in each Curse
20 Bone Spear
20 Bone Prison (or Wall)
10 Bone Wall (or Prison)
1 Bone Armor
1 Corpse Explosion
1 Teeth
With bonuses from gear I can summon 9 revives and 5 mages currently. When I have the finalized gear I'll be able to summon 10 mages and 25 revives from just that one point. Anyways, Skeletons are your main force, your favorite curse will be Amplify Damage against normal enemies and Decrepify against Bosses and Super-Uniques. The Bone Spear is there for helping get your first few corpses in Hell. and you can spam it on mobs that have 200% Physical Immune. (PS Bonespear right now does 900ish and final gear will be doing around 2kish)
Best gear for it is as follows
Arm of King Leoric
Homonculus-Um'd- (There is a better one for summon skill points but its only 2 extra skills and has 0 resist on it It's a choice of preference to a lil bit more damage or a lil bit more survivability)
Enigma Runeword (I use a 12xx Great Hauberk, only needs 88str)
Delirium or Shako-Um'd-
Frostburns
2x BK Wedding Bands (No not Sojs, you need the life that BK gives you)
Perf. Mara's
Up'd Perf. Marrowwalks
Perf. Spider
9x Summon GC
1x Necro Hellfire Torch
1x Anni
Skellies will be doing around 1k damage each, you'll have 16 of them, that's 16,000dmg.

Add in an Amplify Damage, that's 32,000dmg. devilish: Now this is where your Merc comes in, get an Act 2 Might Merc. With Might active and Amp. Dmg. you should now be doing 64,000dmg eek: on a single mob =P How's that for kicking *** and taking names? <3 Necromancer's and their Pets forever <3
