@bigdeath:
here is my problem:
-i mount image
-DOS windows pops up telling me i can't run DOS progs in a 16-bit environnment blah blah... (i think the windows autorun just launch setup.exe, so i don't think that's the problem)
- "i get "Insert Expansion Disc" ......
I'm using original Diablo II.exe , with securom enabled, without CD in drive, and i'have reboot several times...
What should I do ?

Yay my long awaited request finally came.
Anyways a mini - image is a small CD-image that only has the codes the the game checks. This avoids the 600-800MB big *** image.
An image is the whole copy of the CD itself. In order to use this digital image you need to have a cd-drive emulator such as daemon tools. When you mount this image to the virtual drive, it is like a Diablo Lod cd inserted to a digital drive.
If it is not working for you, check your registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Sortware/Blizzard Entertainment/Diablo ii
and make sure your DiabloIICD is targeted to your virtual drive.
To know what your virtual drive is, right click on daemon tools (at your taskbar) and go to Virtual cd/dvd. You should see the drive letter.<number><drive letter=""> Change your regedit entry to the specified virtual drive.
Example: If the letter there is F, Modify your </drive></number>DiabloIICD entry to F:. (RIght click on DiabloIICD and modify, dont touch anything else)
<number><drive letter="">
Of course this is your windows registry so be extra careful not to ruin anything or ur computer will fux upd!</drive></number>
