What monster(s) drop good runes? I got Sol off of countess, but those suck. Anyone have an idea???

Are you doing NM countness or Hell countness? Hell countness can drop good runes sometimes and she is the only moster I know of that drops runes constently. I have found runes like um and mal by kill meph, but that is not often. Another place u can find runes is at the hell forge of course but hell forge u can only use once .

In closed bnet you can get a lot of times by rushing people in act 4.Remember,if people ask you to rush em....dont reject em.....

For runes = try to download the drop mod and you can find all the rune in act5 in 15 minutes !!

anyway on spring break or so just dedicate 7 or so hours constantly doing countes runs you will probly find 1 vex and 2 ists from her

yeah countess is really just for petty runes... your better off making new characters soley for the purpose of forge running

I have done countess runs in normal, nm and hell, best I got was a lum.

I did 20 runs through Hellforge in hell and got 3 dol, 2 po,2 pul,3 ko, 2 lem,vex, 1shael, 1 mal and 3 fal

Hell forge isd best cos rushes only take a couple of minutes and guarantee a decent and sometimes amazing rune.

are u just running characters that need the hellforge quest,
or are u just killing monsters on the way to the forge?

Well, countess is the only moster that constantly drops. Cows have a somewhat decent reputation for runes, but your better off doing countess. You could also rush people for the forge quest. Its luck. Some are lucky, some are constant until they get lucky.

hrrm cows are alright, hell hellforge is better, if u got a good teleing sorc with mh, good equip and a good merc, u can prolly do 15 minute rushes, and thats pretty good. hellforge drops in hell are nice, can drop from dol-zod right?
