All Hacks, Bots, Key related things have been removed after a nice e-mail from Blizzard (apparently some looser which I have thier IP Address of ...got to love e-mail headers... reported the site) This has been a long time coming and i've expected it for about the last 2 years. The downloads will atleast be replaced buy about 30 mods and other 'legal' things soon. If you wish to flame blizzard and what not, just reply to this post with your opinions and what not.

Why do you have to remove it? Theres hacks/bots for other games such as counter-strike etc and other sites that have mh and bots??

They will come back! Mewgood has a nice little download agreement and i'd say thats what has stoped blizz from trying to get them to remove the hacks. I'll do something similar in a few days  You'll notice that i havent physically removed the files yet  Just the links to them in the dloads section.

Interesting how they told you to take down the bots like Chewbot and Ultimate Bot, when the original creators haven't been warned. I can understand that they told you to take down BG3, because that uses the game client. But it isn't really defined as "cheating."

This is stupid!
I believe that you should be able to do whatever you want to your copy of D2 since YOU bought it. That means everything on it, you own. Of course the copyrights come in too, but you'd have to be pretty stupid to hack the game then go and sell it and call it your own.
Those files are there to add a new way of playing the game. They are intended for your own personal use. If somebody tries to do anything illegal using those files, it's their fault not yours.
If i was a game developer, i'd support hacking and modding on my games as long as you don't go out and sell the hacked versions. The creators of Quake 3 supports such things. I can't see how hacks bother Blizzard anyway. They've got closed bnet programmed not to let you on with incorrect files so why worry? I believe they want money. They want to send people to court just to get money. I bet Blizzard plays D2 with those hacks and mods also.
For the person who told Blizzard about this, you better not show your face around here.

Gay, I mean come on, Without maphack you run in circles, like on nightmare meph or hell meph, Those f**king maps are huge! And people are (poor)-dont have alot of stuff on the game and they want to cheat to get help, I for one Support the hacks! HACK-POWER! And i dont support blizzard for being gay, iam very dissapointed i own everygame of theres from Sc-d2-BW-Wc:III-Wc:III FT-d2 XP iam ashamed!

With out these hack Diablo is nothing and is so boring. With out the hacks i bet lost of people would stop playing. But then again thats blizzard for you ruining good things (1.09)
