act 3 meph is popular for most people. if you can do it and it is most hard the council is allso a good place. andy in act one often drops good stuff from time to time.... those would be my picks for some one starting out. once you are good try baaling in a duel game. best char for that would be a hi lvl hammer pally and some skill.

I dont know about in 1.11, but in 1.10 the best place to find soj was nm andy, act 1

Well I just found a soj from mephy a couple of days ago. And Ive found tal armour and amulet there aswell.

Yes, meph and almost any other creature in the game can drop a soj, but for the highest chance for one to drop, its nm andy.
