Help with configuring account or profile

I was just wondering how you put a picture about your name or below wutever, and when you post something a picture below ur post, can some1 tell me how to do those things please?

you have to find a picture on the internet that's less than 450 pixels wide and 125 pixels tall, and then you type in your signature [IMG], followed by the URL of the picture you found, followed by [/IMG] and it will show up like mine.

ok now i just got back on and i find out that we moved to here that i understand

here's the qeustion: is everything now blank like subscritpions and sigs and background infomation and such or can it be retrieved i'm confused
