ok so this can be done non ladder? and if so let say you find a 4soc vortex and you do tal-thul-p-topaz in cube that will raise the def of the vortex and then you make exile out of it and hmm that mean you got a godly exile i heard about the 1700 def vortex exiles but i have never seen them.

I do believe this will work on nl. Just ask around from other people. RITALIN, what you talking about doesn't work. The armor/shield can't have any sockets what-so-ever. Has to be eth too. Sockets are random also. Like the others say it's a gamble. I was VERY fortunate in my cube. Here go to this link and read; Arreat Summit can do wonders...
