maphack question

when d2 is launched and the maphack is active, every time i minumize, the colors in d2 all invert or somhting, does anyone know what this is?, the only way to fix the colors is to change the resolution to 640x480, and this is annoying, and it only happens whilest i am using the maphack, any info is apprediated.
