Are You Scared Of Bird Flu?
#1
are u scared about bird flu. i think it is a very important subject. i'm glad it hasn't started spreading from human to human and can only spread from bird to human then the human dies. if it reaches human to human spreading it will kill millions of people. i was told that if bird flu get to Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia the goverment are gonna fence it of and let all of the pplz die out then go in and sweep up the dead. mean b@rst@rdsmad:

what do u think about Bird Flu??
#2
i think we should being by weakening the flu and then giveing it to be people in small doses so that we build an immunity, they are trying to do it now, but its going to slow
im not afraid of it because the human race has survived worse i.e plague, small pox, malaria, and others. it just goes back to dawrins theory of evolution, the strongest will survive. kinda negative but for most of the time its true besides, if it begins spreading it wil be contained im sure, they caught sars!

not really scared. mostly because i dont know much about it besides the fact that they killed millions of delicious chickens to stop it from spreading
is it always fatal?
#9
yea b/c we havent built up an immunity...its a BIRD flu, not a human flu. they think its going to become an epidemic, i think they are building it up so that we have more to worry about, spending more money ecct. i think also those ppl who died from it injected themselves. my reason is beacuse there has never been a recorded incident of a person dieing from the flu before, why now? of all times why now? ite been around for millions of years... why now? we have eaten chicken, some of use(general whole) ate raw chicken, why now? again its probably not going to happen

thats scary as hell its liike the movie
#11
haha, no, i'm not scared. Just another care tactic in my opinion.
#12
Just typical something like this happens in my life time.
Not really scared, but as soon as I see people dropping dead around me I'll panic.
#13
dont panic then it will be worse, when you panic you drop all you bodily defenses and your nerv es run wild, if htey cant function than you have absolutly no chance of survival/.... but its not going to happen i gareente you
#14
By the time bodies start droppin around you, you probably have the flu.

The only problem with any flu related disease is the fact that it mutates extremely fast. So it could go from killing delicious poultry to wiping out major population centers.

Looks like my daily Chicken Biscuits for breakfast at Chik-Fil-A might go up in price.
McDonald's nuggets *Which contain .0013% Chicken* will still be fine. Those things are nasty as hell.

but if this flu had been around for centuries whyh is it all of a sudden mutating to affect humans? why not before? because its not going to happen, if said it before it wont
#18
this is one of those things you can laugh at, like SARS or west nile virus. so no im not scared of itlaugh:
#19
this will end up being a reported 500 billion deaths
#20
Considering the population was around 6 billion last time I checked, I highly doubt that 500 billion will die.

I'm really not, personally concerned with the flu... Perhaps it could be bad, probably it will not, at least not way down here in Texas.
