Play Diabli II Nox W/o Reinstall?

Does anyone know if this is possible? I want to play with a friend who is nox and in ex. if anyone knows a way to do this...thanx

I have tried just making a nox character but its still no good..

Wny ideas anyone. You think downloading the other patch?

Normally you should be able to make a non expansion character and play using the expansion disc.

You said you tried to make a character though. What happened when you tried to make the character?

And by other patch, do you mean the non expansion 1.11? If so, no you don't need that if you have the expansion 1.11.

I joined bn with the nox char and it said game not found..when I try and join one....

cant u just go into the start menu were diablo is and hit diablo 2 instead of the lod? If u do that u should be able to play nox with no problem.

and yea. I tried creating and joining... we just cant see each other.
and from him. on bn it sais im on lod.. when im no a regular character...

has anyone accually attemped this yet.. someone go try it please.
