Yea i'd go with Shako, 10 DR, 2skils & life. Mf is a bonus
as for socketing it, i believe there's runes adding crushing Blow and such, not sure tho, correct me if i'm wrong -_-

gullimunes is also a great choice. It adds good strength, decent def, and has crushing blow. If paired with mangus gloves, it can add life. If ur already wearing dracs, a Visionary helm is also recommended.

A good V gaze, medium is even fine. Don't spend anything on it since even the best ones arn't terrably expencive, and just save untill you get a 2 os COA than socket it with 2 x ber, helps tons.

IMO shako>coa...Thou more res dr...But shako more life more mana and skill...Dr included too.

I'd go with a 2 pally vis mod life circlet...but gl getting that.

+skills are not necessary for zealots to "own". Mana? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA funniest thing I've ever seen. I have only the mana steal from my ebotdz and I have NEVER run out of mana. DR, life, fhr and block are important. Slide decent IAS bp in there as well I guess.

On topic: 2os/15dr COA is the best choice if you are using HOZ/dunogs while a rare helm, I dont know wtf you would socket the thing with guess just depends on what your lacking, would probably work better if your going SS/dungo's since you will already have the DR break point. The lost res of HOZ is easily made up in charms. But for the love of all that is holy and right PLEASE DONT USE EXILE. Sorry, just like to warn everyone who asks about zealots.

Lol Shako for zealer is crap b/c gaze has more dmg red and leech....I'd go with gully or gaze

Shako's +2 skills is equal to: 46% enhanced damage, 30% attack rating bonus, 30% enhanced defense. That along with 10% DR, huge life bonus and an open socket, I'd say it's a pretty good choice depending on your setup.

I personally use Guillaume's Face (socketed with Cham for CBF) for PvP, and perfect resist Kira's Guardian for PvM (so I can max out my resists without switching out my SS for HoZ and lose DR).

Leech doesn't work well in PvP, so there goes half of Gaze's mods.

shako is good for overall stuff, but some helms are better for pvp (visionary, gullimunes) I think gaze is obsolete cuz u have max DR from SS/Dungos. (i personally wear a dream diadem on my zealer)

imo coa is pretty overated...yes its good 2 soc dr res skill....but check out req....unless ure finding a good -req jewel inside then ure gg.

the perfect pally helm is some form of visionary socketed with double 40-15 ias
some1 had a CRAZY godly one in the "godly gear" thread, but there are also cheaper ones like the one my zealot uses which is just visionary great helm with 2x40-15
or
guillaums with 40-15

if u dont use ss+verdungos 15%dr than u will need a shako, but shako sucks compared to alot of other helms
and never use a gaze it just sucks (since gay mofokin 1.10 patch ><)

5% bonus attacking rating
bonus % to attack rating based on level, i think its around like 94% in the 80s
2x open soc with 2x 40/15's
few other random mods like life (24 to life i think it was)

but thats worth more than a coa in the first place, rofl.laugh:
