zZz..... fire sorc's suck dude... only good thing is good regnerate mana. my ES/lightning sorc beats fire ez.... btw, u messed up on ur stats. if u want a sorc that can TANK a barb, put at least 150 dex or more 4 max block. then rest in2 mana. if u knoe how 2, i would str bug ur gear. if u dont wanna str bug and dont wanna tank a barb, just put enuff str 4 gear and then rest in2 mana. no life, if ur ES, u need ALOT of mana.

oo and btw.... i heard sum1 talking about fcr and shit.. heres my sorc's gear. pretty cheap 2 get, but good..

Weapon1:perf hoto
Shield1ur'd lidless(50+ 2 mana)
weapon2:ne cta, mine uses a 6-6-3
shield2:lidless... u can use spirit if u want.
Armor:35 resist perf saphire'd viper magi
helm:perf saphire'd shako
Ammy:wraith collar... try 2 avoid using mara's or a 3+ lightning ammy.
Belt: spider
rings:2x sojs
gloves:frost burns... magefists if u want
boots: w brands... u can use ne boots that u want..

inventory:
9 light gcs, sorc torch,(u can use 10 light gcs if u cant get sorc torch) 9x 5 fhr sc's, anni

my sorc has a total of 120 fcr... 140 if u use magefists.

Your mana depends on how much your ES is sorbing, so dont go off saying you need A LOOOT of mana. And one day when I'm not playing WoW and I remake my fire sorc I'll duel you and we will see who wins. What the hell kind of gear is that anyways?

if ur asking about the perf saphire'd stuff, just adds mana... i use hoto 4 15 max mana..... most people go 4 dmg on light sorc's... people needa learn its not all about dmg. u need fcr 2 which almost no light sorc's i had pk'd... oo and btw losttrance, wuts up wit ur sig? and we should pk 1 day

Hmmm........ I rather use Eschutas with nice fire dmg, than hoto... yes hoto does res, but u can always get res in sc...... u cant get % fire dmg in sc's........ Then people might say: Hoto gives mana, well so does eschutas it giver +20-30 in energy... :S

I also rather use Viper 35 with p saphhire than a ormus.... there u get 35 res ( as u say is important ) u get more fcr, and still get 1 skill.... and with p saphire in it u get more mana....(which u need if ur a Telek/ES sorc)

and btw. Use lidless with sur instead of sanc

Rest seems right...... ( i dont know what gspurs and fletch are tho :p )

Lets compare hoto + ormus and eschutas + viper 35 ....

With hoto + ormus you'll get 40 res
With viper + eschutas you'll get 35 res ( only need 1 sc 5 res, then its as good as hoto + ormus )

with hoto + ormus you'll get 60 % fcr
with viper + eschutas you'll get 70% fcr


With hoto + ormus you'll get 3 skills, 20% exstra fire dmg, 3 fireball
With viper + eschutas you'll get 4 skills, 25% exstra fire dmg

remember : Each exstra skill point gives only fireball and mastery ... that meens with viper + eschutas u get 48% fire dmg with mastery, and with ormus + hoto u only get 36% from mastery
so the total is like this :

hoto + ormus is 20% exstra fire dmg, 36% from mastery, 9 in fireball
eschutas + viper is 25% exstra fire dmg + 48% from mastery, 7 in fireball

With eschutas + viper u do very near the same dmg as with ormus + hoto, but u get more fcr eschutas + viper, and the same res ... only 5 different..... accually you will also get more mana with eschutas + viper ( which u need if ur a Telek/ES sorc )

you some how see that eschutas + viper is a better combination? i hope you do

Anyway, i would like to know what this is:

I think you will have to low dmg and to low FCR in your guide, compare to the elite fire sorc. And why dont you finnish the fire skills before you start putting many points into telekinesis?
Since the page with the FCR setup is gone, i cant tell you how much you shoud have, but i renember its way past 100%.
I would socket my Shako with a cham if i where you. "Cannot be Frozen" is more important in PvP than a "Fire Facet".

well gj trance i maded the sorc and it owned all sorry guys but it owns....but i did chage a little i str buged it and only got 4gcs >.< but i ended up with lots of life ty for the guide

To bad 200%fcr sorcs can't do that much dmg. And I can tank like 10-20 fbs w/o my mana even dropping past half....

200% FCR sorcs can come pretty close to that damage. Tank 10-20 FB's? Keep in mind that Energy Shield is calculated before resistances and absorb. You could have 95% resist and 40% absorb and your mana would still get wiped out in a few hits.

Agreed. The difference in speed outweighs the difference in damage.
