Character (savegame) Problem

Hi guys!

1st of all excuse my bad english.
My problem is following:

I started to play D2 version: 1.10 few days ago. I saved the character normally and quit game. Then in backup my SAVE directory. Then i uninstalled D2 & reinstall with version 1.08 !then i paste my backup save directory back in. when i now try to load my previous character in game it isnt showing on ! its just off - only chance is to set a new on which i dont want to.


any advice ?

u have to use the SAME VERSION u saved the character with or a NEWER version of the game. you saved with 1.10, so u gotta use 1.10++
you cant use a 1.10 character in d2 1.08

damn but thanks...

i DOWNdated becuz the unofficial 800x600 patch only works with version 1.08 !
Any tip for increasing resolution ?

Last i knew the only difference in 1.11 charactors and 1.09 was the version number(at least it was for 1.1) so if you have somthing like hero editor you could just change the version number (1.09 to 1.10 or 1.11 not ealier)
