Frequent Connection Probelms

I'm kinda tired of seeing some same old connection problems being asked so i decided to make this Just Glance here your Q will be here probably

Q. When i log on i get "Your connection has been restricted from this current realm"
What do i do?

A. Nothing, this is just another way of saying "Realm Down" and don't keep on trying
to connect or it can last quite awhile. (15min - 2 days)

Q. When i log on it jus says "Connecting to fastest server" and never continues
What do i do?

A. This comes commonly from spam bots and u re-installed D2 to get rid of it.
The Bot changed your Server, just go to task manager and click on new Task
then Enter RegEdit then go to the Software files and look for a file named
"Battle.Net", there can be more than one. Delete these files and resume your play.

Q. Doesn't Connect. What's going on?

A. Connect to the internet and try again or allow D2 thru your firewall

How to prevent these problems:

- Do not join & exits games very fast
- Do not type 7 messages really fast
- Do not change your Auras very fast
- Do not lag like crazy

- Do not download hacks that have spam bots.

- Be sure to connect to the internet or allow D2 thru ur firewall first!

Im on a school comp is there anyway of getting in the firewall setting if im not adminstrator???? and if there is wat do i need to do to allow it to allow diablo too connect????

Just attempt to change your firewall settings.

Start Menu>Control Panel>Security Options>Fire Wall Exceptions

If it doesn't allow u, u can't do it. Unless you wanna be a hacker.

My recommendation? Don't use a school computer.
