I heard if 2 lvl 90's trade soh's and it makes a new trade screen where you can trade torch/anni/gheeds in trade window. I dont play much anymore since i got WoW but maybe someone can test?

im posative it doesnt do any of that stuff my friends and i have tried most of it and i forgot who but some one in this forum a while back checked the d2 directory and says soh does nothing

It does do something, it shrinks! when on the ground the thing looks like a staff, but when you put it in inventory it only takes up one block, wow i have a shrinking charm! LOL

SoH Uses:

1. Its for poor people who cant afford anni :p takes up the slot to make you look 1337.

2. Drop it in the middle of a duel and scare people.

3. Laugh at everyone that thinks it does somthing

Doesn't work. I had it in my inv with my lvl91 druid and he still lost exp when he died.

I've compiled a few *UNTESTED* theories I have about the elusive Standard of Heroes. I currently have a 90 smiter, and a 93 sorc..... who both carry around SoH's all day long... like it's their job. I havent found anything to do with them yet, but here's what they might do.

SoHs will cook you breakfast in the morning. Mmmmm.... pancakes.....

SoHs reduce lag.

Got a 90 barb?? Give one to Charsi.... you know what I mean.

I suppose they could end world hunger.

Makes your sorceress more attractive.... and reduces wrinkling by 8%.

Makes your paladin white.

Gives necros a tan.

Your assassin finally brings home her "friend" Judith to her parents, and explains to them why she's always so butch.

SoH makes your druid smell better. Same goes for Barbs, zons, well I guess anyone.... they don't shower often do they? I don't even think our heroes can swim.

put 13 in your cube along with an extra cube space and you make a portal to not so uber trist, where you fight the lords of terror in their pre-pubescent states.... thjey don't drop anything there, but it's fun to kick the sh*t out of them anyway.

Ok, this one's for real..... your soh will get you an um rune from someone who's never seen one before, and thinks theyre worth something. Maybe.

SoH's earn you the right to get on top.... do what you like.
