In Desperate Need of Advice

I recently started playing D2 again with a new character (my old 1s were all expired) I made a hammerdin but i have no good items. I deal a good amount of damage but i cant survive anyhting long enough to take it out. I was woundering if anyone had some advice on how to get some decent items so that i can kill meph in hell. As of right now, im level 63 and can barely kill diablo in norm.

Well i wouldn't even think about making a hammerdin without good gear. I have made a guide as a hammerdin in the Paladin guide section and it's a real toughie to make a good hammerdin without things like Enigma and Hoto.

Try making a fire sorceress or a blizzard sorc to mf with, then slowly work your way up to hammerdin.
